Re: CD-KEY in BF2 SF
yes, it happned to me after a reformat of my HDD.
What EA said to do was to look at your registry for BF2 and make sure it has the same CDkey in that as BF2SF. I know it's vague but I dont have the actual process here at work.
if youre unfamiliar with registry, type regedit in the run deally and navigate thru your local machine to the EA games/BF2 folder and find a reg key with it in there.Comment

Re: CD-KEY in BF2 SF
well i went thru the registry thingy...and found a whole lotta crap...when i clicked on the Battlefield 2/SF icons it dropped two things down..."ergc" and "wdc" i looked in "ergc" and found a lot of numbers and letters...SF and BF2's number/letters are both diff. from eachother but im not sure if im supposed to change it or not but does anyone know what im talking bout?Comment

Re: CD-KEY in BF2 SF
Look in the Support forum at the top, I have a thread at top of forum called Invalid CD key
I have explained how it worked for me, and I link to the EA Knowledge Base article it is heavily based on. The EA article however uses the BF2 cd-key for both entries, but with me that didn't work.
I had to use the logical way where the BF2 key is entered for BF2 and for BF2:SF the BF2:SF CD-key.
If either of the way works, please let me know.
