Crosshair Problem!!

For some reason, my sniper crosshairs on night maps in the battlefield expansion don't appear at all. Does any one else have the same problem?

Are you sure your crosshair is set to a color you can notice in the dark?
You can change this in the Options part of the main screen on BF2/SF.

I recommend bright yellow, bright green also works well

this wasn't a problem before, but one day as i was playing as sniper i noticed there were no crosshairs. I did try t change the colors, that didnt help. This though only happens at the night maps, not the day ones.

A long shot, but are you using a nVidia card and also older drivers? I use older drivers because they're more stable, at least for my older Neo2 nForce3 board, and tonight for the first time (in BF2:SF) I started losing my entire HUD: crosshair, weapon model, everything.

Though timely, an Alt-TAB in and out of the game will force DirectX to reinitialize itself, and this resolved my problem. (Yes, updating the drivers would solve it, too, but then I'll crash to desktop a lot. )

Ya i see mine fine.. i switched to a off purple.
