Up to date?

I have noticed that it takes a long time for me to get promoted. I am currently a Sergeant and it says i have been playing the game for 30 hours. Is this usual?
I have downloaded the path but i am not sure it is the right one. It says i am running version 1.12***** *=numbers i cant remember :P.

Any ideas?

Yeah to both questions.
Wait till you get to Gunnery Sergeant. There's a BIG increase in the points required to hit your next rank after that.

If BF2 were like in the beginning, you wouldn't even be Corporal now :P bf2s.com/ubar or something, you'll find the requirments for each rank.
