Roll to prone question

I believe you hit left or right combined with the prone button to perform this move. My keyboard is set to "Z" for prone and seems difficult to do this move quickly. Is there a better keyboard configuration or keybind that makes this easier, or do I just need to practice more? Thanks

I have my Prone key mapped to "F" I dont use the switch weapons buttons. I either have them programmed in as a hot key, or I use the scroll wheel.

It's just a graphical animation for when you strafe and prone

Yeah I have F set to pick up gear pack. I'll try switching prone to F. Thanks!

This is my keyboard setup, I use the standard w a s d
q=Commo Rose
e=Draw Knife
r=Reload
t=VOIP chat

f= Prone
g=Grenade
h=Pistol

Shift=Sprint
z=Sec Commo Rose
x=Defrib
c=Enter Vehicle
v=Pickup Kit.

Yeah I think it's just an animation you can only see in a 3rd person view.
