Rolling while shooting

I was wondering how people roll and shoot at the same time. In fact I would like to know how to roll. It isn't in the manual, how to roll. Do I need to get into a secret club to learn it. It also seems like they take one shot after they roll and it's all over.

Part 2 Where are the awards? I have a ton of knife kills and over 15 in a round and still have basic knife. Whats up with that? Thanks 4 the help.

Personally I thought Star Wars Battlefront 2 did a much better job at rolling and jumping. Your arms flail so you can't shoot and you get a much better sense of your own actions and movement.

How was that on the PC Star Wars? Also, I just started playing online and like it better. Can anyone recommend any Online shooters that stack up to battlefield 2. I'm sure it will be tough.
