I would like to see some snow maps, with snow mobiles and things like that, that would be pretty sweet. And some jungle maps full of trees, plants, weeds, and all that. The only problem would be to much camping on the jungle level, but hey, its a damn jungle.
What kinda maps would u like to see?

Re: What kinda maps would u like to see?
I would like to see some maps based in the countries of soldiers depicted in Special Forces.
SAS fighting Rebals in a London map? Yes please. Hopefully they could put a few landmarks in, Tower Bridge, Big Ben etc. Maybe I'm a bit optimistic
Also, I'd love to see a Russian town for the Spetznaz to fight in. Athough I think the most important thing is new textures. If they just use what they have already, it won't look any different to the maps we have now.Comment

Some First World urban maps would be cool, for sure.
I'd also love to see some artic engagements.
Over all, about the biggest factor I'd like to see in some maps is theamed vehciles and support assets. I'd love a map that had one side armour heavy while the other has to use choppers to get their men into the area. Or an open map that's seriously armour heavy with little to no air assets at all.
I'd kill for a map that was a heavily defended base vs a major assualt. Mount the base with the same guns as are on the Essex, give 'em lots of mobile AA, and a smatering of armour and ground defences. The attacks get air assets and some light armour. Would be a hell of a fight!
How about a flat out air war map? 3 bombers and 6 fighters per side! That outta keep the air jocks happy!Comment

Re: What kinda maps would u like to see?
I'd definately like to see some more urban maps. Karkand is an obvious favorite for BF2 players, but it gets old after a while. The thing that was cool about Karkand at first was that there was a lot of area to cover from every angle, but now everyone knows it like the back of their hand so the fights have become almost as routine as playing in single player.
I've thought of making some maps myself. The only thing that's stopped me so far is that I can't even code a website, but I've seen some amateurs make maps and they weren't too bad. For the most part they look like they lacked creativity and maybe the patience to do landscaping properly. Anyone here played with the map editor yet? Is it user friendly?
I just got GTA San Andreas and that is THE BEST MAP from any game that I've ever seen. It's just one continuous map and it's brilliant.
Just trying to picture a 500+ player bf2 game on that map lolComment

Re: What kinda maps would u like to see?
I played with the map editor a bit. Consitered doing some stuff (I've mapped before... even been paid for it), but I don't know how many people would bother to play on anything I did since it wouldn't be ranked.
I'd like to implement some of those ideas I mentioned above.Comment

Definitely a jungle map with hidden huts which you can only find by going bug zapping (search and destroy). And a real mountain map with hidden valleys and steep cliffs and ravines and caves to hide in from choppers and arty shells.Comment

More maps like Daqing. As you've probably gathered from my raving about it in previous posts, it's my favorite map.
Ground textures that make infantry camo work, well-balanced between both factions, etc.
Same goes for maps à la FuShe, which rules because AA is actually useful there, and you can have loads of fun with rapid attack squads (medic-specop-support) in a buggy.
I really dislike MEC maps, and Karkand just plain bores the **** out of me.Comment
