New Special forces unlocks being used in normal BF2

Does anyone know how this is working? Ive seen some SF kits being used in normal BF2 maps, and im wondering how their doing this? do the grapling hooks and other gadgets carry over in the SF kits? i know i saw flashbangs in the new SF kit, and im wondering if the support kit that you can unlock for BF2 has the gas launcher, because if it does, im def unlocking that shiz. some people ive talked to think it will just have the gun and nothing else not already available in BF2, but then why does the new assulault SF unlock have flash nades? no flash nades were present in normal BF2 before special forces. i just wanted to clear all this up before i started unlocking kits. plz let me know about these questions and any other things i should know before i unlock these kits. Thanks

The flashbangs are included with the FN2000 kit. They are the only accessory that carries over from SF to BF2. In Vanilla BF2 you can not have the gas mask, Zipline, night vision, or the grapple.
