bunny hop, constant noob tube, dolphin dive??

I have a lot of respect for infantry types that just play the game as it should be but I find it very hard to find any. Most of the highly ranked players bounce about like ping pong balls.

I know this is an old complaint I just wondered if there are any examples of good infantry players that play straight out there?

I know that it takes skill to be good in a a chopper (unless you are in a BH and not flying:p ), tank, apc etc but I am looking for examples of infantry types especially as I only tend to play infantry type maps.

I don't jump and shoot. I will jump to get out of the way though. Usually don't noob tube though it is pretty fun. I usually jump around a lot if the guy I am shooting at starts to do it.

I try to avoid b-hopping and d-diving as much as i possibly can. The only recent memory of this was when I was being chased by an APC and was bouncing like a rabbit to get out of the way. The driver gave me hell about it after he shot me. I replied that I normally don't b-hop but in that particular case I couldn't do anything else to try and save my butt.
I don't use the M203 because I rarely play assault. I don't mind people who use the M203 excessively as long as it's not in conjunction with b-hopping or d-diving.
Supposedly* the next patch will fix the shoot and jump problem. My advice to everyone out there who constantly complains about b-hopping and d-diving ruining the realism of the game is to play America's Army. I've seen b-hopping happen there but the frequency of occurence is about a tenth that of BF2.

dont assume all high ranked players play fair. you seem to be directing this towards high ranked and I know a lot of them who still play noobish.

A fair point:) , I just wondered if any players had made it up the rankings by playing the game 'straight' for want of a better term

Ive got first sargeant and all my ribbon s except war college and aerial...vet on most of my combat badges and I know I earned mine. A lot on commander and when Im not commander I play medic or support. Sometimes I noob toob in a busy server. Specially when I end up on a squad that seems to be all support or medic. As for "dubious" play....I die too much...lol. in essence....I worked my butt of for my points and awards...and had a lot of fun doin it.

That exactly is bunny hoping. That's something I hate as much as I hate when someone crashes their plane or chopper into mine on purpose. Crashing c4 buggy into my tank don't mind though.

Thanks, ORION... We try to deal with hoppers as much as possible. Honestly, we just can't wait for the patch... Hopefully, that'll mostly take care of the bunny hopping problem. We can only hope. But you're all welcome to come by and mix it up with us...

man sorry but that SFR server always has ****in dickheads on it and high ping mother****ers, i wouldnt recomend it to anyone

i mean i dont hate on you SFR guys, ive played on your server for awhile, but lately its been populated with some real assholes

I dont bunny hop or dolphin dive, and ive got <400 kills with noob toob.

Ive got more kills with hand weapons than with vehicles.

And hey: MrBenis is within the top 10,000 players internationally.
