Dual Core CPU

What's the advantage here? I know Intel's suck so just give me reasons dealing with AMD's Dual Core CPUs.

Faster multi-tasking mainly. Eventually there will be more programs out that support dual core and then it will speed things up tremendously.

They won't help in games right now, but in the future games are going to support it. CoD2 and Quake 4 already support dual-core.
