noob needs help!

when i go to file and select "new" (terrain editor section) the window comes up. in the window i write the name "ex. my_mod" and set the size to 256. leave everything else to default and press ok. then in the lower left window it says "overgrowth total vertex/index memory size 36000"
"ingnored warning [RendDX9] : failed to create dx texture"

and i can';t even make baisic terain!!

using bf2 editor beta version

help please!!!

cough cough reinstall , and just putbf2 as your parent mod or w.e and 256 then you should be good

w.e. ?? reinstalled editor and chose bf2 as my startup mod---it still doesn't work:cry: :hmm:

Rendering error = something's wrong with your graphics card. BTW what card are you using?

my card is ATI Radeon 8500 I have 2.8GHz 1 gig of RAM on my computer and 200gigs of space.

ok guys, i found it out, the editor doesn't recognize my graphics card. thanx for tryin to help guys:) but unfortunetly i can't use the editor:cry: . c ya guys later!
