Forget stingers, I want Flak

If you played 1942 then you know what I'm talkin about. That stuff freaking owned hard. These stinger missles suck. If you get hit by them then you're just a noob or it was team damage. Since teammate missles love to hit friendlies and that's it. We need more ESSEX type dealios around maps. That would be sweet.

I want flak back.

Not in the sense of WW2 big ass cannons shooting at slow moving bombers, but yea its around. Smaller calibur, high rates of fire, radar controlled

Having mobile vulcan gun AA vehicles would be awesome, and would be a hell of alot more reliable than seekers.

I agree, in BF1942, flak was actually dangerous to planes. Even now, I think I can take out a plane with a good flak cannon a lot faster than that bs stinger site.

A german high-calibre anti-air cannon ("flugabwehrkanone"), which sucked incredible amounts of **** in reality. The best kill/miss ratio they ever achieved with it was 1% (6 bombers out of 640), and the RAF/USAF bomber pilots considered that a "hot zone".

These days I like driving the PGZ as a support guy on FuShe even more than flying a chopper. So many lovely spots to hide, so many apcs and stinger sites to keep the chopper busy.

I actually do like the chinese mobile anti-air even if it is quite underpowered for what it is. Those cannon should tear a hole in a chopper but I find it's more of an psyc trauma from the noise than the actual damage.
