Special Forces installing problem

Hy. I bought an original verion of BF2 special forces. When I try to install it it says BF2 Special Forces requires that BF2 be installed. Please install BF2 before continuing.
But I have it installed and it works fine. Now I tried to reinstall BF2, but the setup closed after preparing install shield wizard.

This happens to a lot of people.

They all needed to properly uninstall BF2 based on help from this thread.

Remember that you'll need to install the 1.12 patch *after* you install SF.

BTW: Is 1.12 final upgrade or there will be another?

Nope, we're expecting at least another patch but don't have a date for it yet ( a guess would sometime in January).
