Can the Spec Ops see enemy C4's?

I mean, see them with the red skull.

A friend of mine told he was playing as SpecOps and saw a guy throwing C4's... He saw the red skulls but when he put the crosshairs on him his name was red. He killed the enemy (Player [Wep] Player2) and wasn't punished (I am sure he would be if the guy was friendly).

Some times when I play as SO I also see C4's with red skulls that were probably armed by enemies.

So, can the Spec Ops "see" enemy C4's?

No, the SO doesn't see the red skull if it's an enemy C4 pack.

It just sounds like another case of the bug where a teammate seems to be on the other team but isn't.
