    Can we share the game?

Well I sold bf2 with my video card to my bro few months ago but now I got video card and I wonder if me and my brother can share it. I think it would be kinda pointless to buy 2 games. Dont we have the same IP?

If you mean at the same time, the answer is no.
You only purased a single lisence to the game. In fact, all you paid for was the CD key (which represents your personal lisence).

And FYI, IP has nothing to do with it.

Yes, you can, of course. I recommend you make a seperate profile tho.

Technically, you're only supposed to have it installed on one computer at any given time. If you aren't playing at the same time, no one's gonna care tho.

Ya might as well bone up for another copy tho. You and you're bro can play together 'n do some damage as squad mates that way.

Re: Can we share the game?

Here at my house, we run 2 computers with BF2. We can play at the same time but Id say over 75% of the time only one computer is on at a time. On those 2 computers we have 5 accounts (every one that plays here has thier own). We found out this works ok but to run 2 computers at the same time you have to have 2 copies of the game. Let me rephrase that you need to have 2 seperate copies that you purchased, vanilla and SF. Also you cant have 1 copy of vanilla BF2 and 1 of special forces that wont work either. It must be 2 complete copies. We have 2 complete copies, when you complain about the price, some of us took that hit twice. So I hope this answers your question(s). . . . .Red

Sucks though, I wanted to play together with my bro, not a chance.

Just do some quick jobs for cash. Setup a joey wash or offer some dingo obedience training. If you don't get kicked in the face, or get your leg chewed off, you'll have you're own copy in no time!

Or you could always get yourself a little skirt and stand on a corner someplace...

i just have to say that if you are not in australia that sounds like an insane task just for a copy of bf2. lol (no offence meant) just to someone on another continent that seems out of the ordinary. of course, i know you were speaking to someone who is in aus.

Why does the rest of the world think we have koala's in our backyard, dingo's driving our cars and kangaroo's roaming the street, come to Australia, we have those things in the zoo and somewhere in the desert. All the stereotyping of that tight pants wearing Crikey moron on TV you see is pretty much rubbish. Sure we have crocodiles in some lakes in WA but other than that you can suck my wildlife balls.

Before you know it people might stop believing me when I tell 'em about the Igloos we live in and the polar bears we have to fight to get the mail up here in Canuckida!

Your not foolin me, either one of ya. I watch the crockidle hunter all the time. Pretty funny, but it kinda reminds me of the Ausie versin of the PBR (Professional Bull Riders Association). Those polar bears and Penguins have coke parties all the time I've seen it on TV. And as we all know if its on TV its a fact, isnt it? . . . . .Red

You can lend it or share it with your bro no problems. Its the same as with music CD's - its alowed to lend your cd to close friends if you want to. The industry calculates this. I would like to see the gaming company that sued someone for letting his brother try his games..
Why would there be 2 controllers on forexample an Xbox, if it was only alowed for the CD owner or console owner to play on it? :)

I must say your morale is admirable though.
                              No worries.
