Socket error

I have been trying to get online all day but I just get an error message saying "error in connecting to a socket."

I am conecting through a wireless router, how ever it was working fine last night and none of the settings have been changed.

Does anyone have any ideas please?

Bump.
I could really do with some help here people. I cant connect to any online accounts and it wont let me create a new one either as it comes up with the same error.
Nothing at all has been changed with the firewalls or the router.

Try a non wireless connection. Wireless isn't a gaming type of connection. I'm guessing you have broadband too?

Yes I have mate. The game has been playing fine on the wireless, tiny bit of lag somtimes in the chopper, but nothing to bad.
Itt was working the other night but now when i try yo log on i get the above error.
