Freezes at log in screen! Plz Help!

ok well heres the story, i just got BF2 for christmas, i installed it and perfectly worked. The very first time i tried it, i click the icon, saw the EA games (challenge everything) and then the preview of the game with the blowing up and everything. After watching that it goes to the log in screen and BAM, freezes... i can hear the music in the background and the mouse still works but the game completely freezes...ive tried everything, i have a ATi RADEON 9200 graphics card, is this enough? plz gimme some ideas of what i can do! ty

BUMP! plzzzz help:cry: ....also im getting a ATI RADEON 9550 256MB DDR AGP Graphics card for my other computer ...i know its not the best but will it support BF2 at least to play?

Kawasaki12 to the resque!!! This has happened to me also. The issue is your video card. As EA said, the RADEAON 9200 didn't pass the test. They also said that if you had that card, your pretty much screwed. So I bough myself a new video card and vola! I could finally get past the movie and play the game. Now I got a RADEON 9600 and tomorrow im going to get a Nvidia 6600. So if I were you, get a Nvidia card.

ok thanks a lot , but it does say that it supports the 9550, will that work? anyone have that one or know what kinda graphics or problems it problems it produces? ty
