Hello all, Is there a safe mode? If so where is it? And if not how can I change the settings of the game when the screen goes "wonky"?

No there is no safe mode for BF2 :cry:

but you can just delete the folders inside ..\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\ this will remove all profiles and when you start BF2 up, it will be in a default state.

You can also edit the .con in each profile if you don't want to delete the entire profile. Often the 0001 folder is the folder used. If you know what is the cause, e.g. if it is video edit the video.con file and set:
VideoSettings.setResolution 800x600@60Hz then it will be at a settings most monitors and gfx cards can use.

You can then use the Retrieve option in Manage Accounts to get your login settings back.
