Freezing Screen--Need Help!
Hey guys, I bought BF2 and SF a couple days ago and installed it just yesterday. In just a couple hours of play I experienced failure to access my account server and the worst problem is freezing! Though where it would freeze is unpredictable. All I know is that it is always online. Sometimes it freezes when I am trying to join a game. Sometime in the game. My computer runs it perfectly (no lag, really smooth) and then out of the blue my screen just freezes. I can't even Alt Tab out. I have to pull the cord. I don't know why this is happening. My specs check out but here they are...
AMD X2 4200+ @ 2.2GHz
Dual GeForce 7800 GTs
2 GB RAM
I hear it may be a driver issue so my display driver is 6.14.0010.7777 and sound driver is 5.10.0000.5750. I have also tried putting the sound acceleration level to Basic Acceleration but still no luck.
Please help. I really want to enjoy this game to its potential. The multi player is where it is at in BF2 and for me to miss out on it would be to waste $80. Any help would be appreciated!
