Are you overclocking anything? Since patch 1.12 this game destroys any system that may be stable doing anything else in the universe. Is your AGP aperture set to 256? you will need it to be for a 128mb video card.

I just upgraded to the exact same mobo with a AMD 64 3700+ and a ATI X850 XT AGP and I'm having the exact same problem. I updated the AGP driver and the Radeon driver, I've reinstalled MS XP twice - no joy. I'm beginning to think that the AGP slot on this particular mobo might not be good. This is one of the only mobo's with a true AGP 8x and PCI-e slot on the same board. They may have messed up on the support for some of the features on the AGP, is what I'm thinking. I'm still working on it, if anyone has any info please let us know. I'm considering going to another mobo with AGP only, although I really liked the fact that I could upgrade to PCI-e later without having to change mobos.

i doubt it is the m/b as i am running a opteron 144, gigabyte nf3 agp m/b and a x800xtpe and having similiar issues. before people say it, i am running 1GB PC3200 but do not exceed 1GB, therefore i am ok. also i have tried this setup a 800x600 with all low settings and it still runs like sh!t. this is even worse now with the 1.2 patch as my network is gone or may as well be....

I had this problem some time back my pc would close game after 5 - 10 min or when extreme game play occured. My fix was clean out excessive dust from cooling fans on CPU and GPU.
hope this helps if you havent already done it...

I used the same video card and graphics drivers with my old mobo with a Via chipset without this problem occuring (same powersupply). I went back to my old mobo after encountering these problems with the ASRock Dual and still did not see these problems with my old Mobo. Tried re-installing the ASRock (again) and picked up the latest drivers from ULi, still the entire computer crashes after about 5 minutes of play. The CPU is not overheating. I can't tell what the GPU temp is.
