First kit unlock

What kit should I unlock first? I just started and I don't know what's worth unlocking. I was thinking the medic one. But I like being AT. If I unlock the shot gun thing for AT do I get a different AT gun?

The medic gun is WAY overhyped. It was my first unlock, and the most dissapointing unlock. IMHO the most rewarding was the G36 series.

Nope. You just get the Dao-12, which replaces the standard MP-5.

The DAO is arguably the best upgrade to any kit. It make ATs effective at all ranges. I would strongly suggest it if you like playing AT.

Next, I'd suggest the G3. It's accuracy and lack of recoil/added deviation is amazing.

I found the L8 to be a big help for the medic kit, but it is seriously overhyped. It's fully auto fire is worthless at medium to long range. For single shot sniping and upclose spraying, it's not bad. Not great either, but not bad.

But honestly, if you want a SERIOUS upgrade over the default weapon for each kit, the Medic unlock should be one of your last unlocks. Really not quite worth it.

Depends on your style of play.. I unlocked the L85 first, and while I don't preach it, I don't understand what anyone has against it. I've had some pretty nice streaks with that gun, and you can really count on the scope.

DAO is probably your best bet though pal. A must for an AT player. I love the G3 myself and it's probably my favorite unlock ever.

Keep in mind if you unlock the L85 and buy SF, you'll get the G36E if you want, and this gun is a beast.

same for the medic, first it seems great but i rarley use it anymore except to snipe on ghost town heheh

im a PFC and 1/2 way to my next rank and thats the weapon it says im going to unlock but i havent unlock since a private how long doi have to wait?

You have to get to Lance corporal first before you are able to pick your first unlock. I am sargeant now so I have 3 unlocks. Me first unlock was the G36C because i played spec ops alot. It got me tons of kills. G36 series is absolutely amazing. My secon was the L85A1. I thought that it would be great because i didn't like the standard medic weapons. Disapointing but I like it nontheless. My latest unlock was the DAO-12. This is one of my favorites because of it's shear power. Plus, it's an automatic shotgun meaning I can put out alot of shells on an enemy and since it's so powerful, I will be assured that the guy I was aiming at has died. Not good at long ranges because It is a shotgun you know. My next unlock will be the PKM. The G3 after that. So mainly I'm saying is that you should get the gun that goes with the kit that you play the most, then you should start getting things that seem more powerful or more accurate.

Hmmm ive just unlocked the g36c and i prefer the m4...

BTW i love the mec assualt weapon,is there any other unlocks,that are close to that in recoil,damage and character

The G36C has probably the best aim in the game, next to the M24. Seriously.

I recommend you go for the class you play the most or the least (because a new weapon might draw you into that class instead).

I unlocked the spec ops gun first and I STILL love it. I unlocked the PKM last night (have been playing like 3 days so take my opinion for whatever) and the thing is CLUTCH!! Honestly I can out snipe snipers and I have constantly taken out whole squads that thought they were going to get the jump on people. My brother unlocked the medic gun and then the G3 and swears by the medic gun. In my opinion the G3 looks like the most fun but I don't think I could handle the 20 round clip.

I hear all these great things about the DAO but I tried it on an unlocked server and could hardly kill anyone with it, seriously how often are you 10 feet from someone? It's all about the range, plus it takes over 8 seconds to reload. Nothing like killing 1 person and reloading just to have the next guy come around the corner.
