I Searched all the forums and found no startup problem related to mine.
I have Epox MB 8rda+, Radeon 9500 128, 2600 xp Athalon, 1 gig Geil ram, & 17" crt Samsung monitor. Went through and updated my video and sound drivers, and installed BF2 and intall patch v1.12. Also returned game to get another thinking maybe i had a bad copy but not the case, and i meet all the requirements.
When Cd inserted or (clicking on the BF2 icon w/cd in Drive) the BF2 Select Screen comes up asking to play online, play BF2, etc.. Everything else in that menu works the server, video, except for playing BF2 & BF2 online. When i click on either one the Drive reads the cd, the BATTLEFIELD 2 Rectangle box pops up and nothing. The CD rom light is on, and that screen sits there for about 10 minutes, then it just closes by itself!!!
Maybe I missed something some where, I just dont know. Can somebody please Help!!!!:|:
