How this is possible

I was playing on one of the EA US servers this morning, as a US Marine, there was this guy named "Zerachiel" or something like that, wearing a MEC kit, who kept killing me during the whole game, 5 or 6 times, but his color is blue to me each and every time, even more confusing is that every time he killed me the screen says Zerachiel [teamkill] PureBlueFlames, but I don't get any punish prompts. So I listed the player names and he is listed on our side and socred really high with no teamkilling punishment! I killed him while he was taking our flag and it too says PureBlueFlames [teamkill] Zerachiel but I did not get points off either and actually awarded for definding the flag!

I have never seen something this f**king weired, so I would just start a post here to see if someone has experienced the same thing.

This only happened during one game, the next game his name moved to MEC list and it was normal. The battle was very intensive and I did not get a chance to ask him what happend to him.

ye thats possible its some kind of hack thing you do but you get banned if some one reports you.

This is the red/blue tag bug. I guess perhaps they saw you as an enemy, and to them it was saying they killed you, not team kills. I had this happen with me just the other day, a guy showed up as a red name, and even the UAV pointed him out near me. So after a few times killing them I noticed they were using MEC (that was my team) weapons and such, and as I was asking if they were on my team or not, they tk'd me, I guess cause they were ****ed off. I also had a score of -9 for my team points, but it showed as an enemy to me! It's just a bug, and I have seen it more times then I can count now...and instead of fixing it and other bugs *cough* AA missiles *cough*, EA or who ever makes the patches keeps making changes to the game play itself. Last time it was the commander's artillery doesn't TK anymore, this next patch will be no more jumping around like an idiot shooting. It's just a bug, if this happens to you again, just leave the server or something

um.. this kept happining to me last night.. and even worse.. it was showing up so much that i started killing my teamates for real.. i ended up just logging off out of frustration.. that sucks bad.

I know the red tag bug but it only happens after you pick up enemy kits but this time it appears that he plays MEC and listed name under USM?

On a slightly OT note,
I was commander on a UK ranked server the other night and whenever i used Arty and got me some enemy kills, one of the other players got credited with them.WTF is all THAT about ??
Once that started happening I disconnected straight away.

As raceacontari said, its a version of the red nametag bug. He is actually on the other team, but u see him as one of ur own. And if u press Tab, his name will be listed in ur team too. Has happened to me a few times, and as u say, it usually only lasts for one round.
It is NOT a hack...
