    1st Person View

Is it possible at ALL to spectate in FPS view during online play, or in BattleRecorder?

If not, why doesnt a Multiplayer based game like BF2 support something as simple as that? When I'm dead, I would love to spec someone else in FPS view, just like COD, CSS, ect ect.

Would be an easy way to tell if someone was hacking as well..

That's the point, if somebody is hiding, he doesn't want you to know where he shot you from. "Killer cam" was possible in BF1942, it just showed where that guy shot you from, but then you couldn't stay in 1 spot, because the next time he spawned, he would know where to find you

Well of course, If it was implimented, it would be limited to Teamates only.

Just like what we have now. We can Push "C" to cycle through players and see where they are and what they're doing, but its only in 3rd person view. It would be so much nicer being able to truly spectate someone in 1st person.

In CSS you could record demos of yourself or others, and replay them, for nice frags and such. In BF2, you can never really see ANY footage of anyone else and how they play unless they recorded it live with fraps.

FPS view while spectate is a basic of every multiplayer oriented game. Would a total conversion mod be able to impliment it?

Speaking of which I heard about being able to record Demos in CSS, how is this done? Console command? What? Or have I misunderstood someone?

That's exactly what I was talking about. In CSS you can record demos of the exact footage of your gameplay. It is a console command. You can start and stop recording at anytime.

I really forgot the command though. Should be along the lines of "Record XXXX" xxxx = you type in the name of the demo.

To play, Open console and type in "Play xxxxx"
