Just got Madden 06 the other day from bestbuy for $25. The graphics are pretty good, way better than the '02 version that I was used to. Still trying to get the keyboard controls down as I'm just bashing away frantically when I get a receiver the ball.

Between my Genesis, ps1, ps2 and pc i have all the years up through 05. I will not be buying 06 through 11 because i will not support EA Sports and their monopoly of the NFL license.
What do you think of the Superstar mode in 06? I heard it was lame. I think the only real improvement over 05, that i read about, was the quarterback field of vision thingy. Other than that i dont think the game has changed much. All the reviews i've read say the graphics are pretty much the same as 05 and only a few new motion captures were added. So i guess i'm not missing too much.
edit* you should really use a gamepad over the keyboard. Just my opinion... -

I own 2004PC(got it free) and 2005Ps2(was a gift), so I haven’t given EA my money (got bf2 off ebay for like $20). I’m honestly waiting for 2007 for PC (I’ll probably get it off ebay, so I don’t have to give them my money), because I’m sure it will be a xbox360 port with the new graphics and it will look even better on a monitor at 1600x1200.
I actually just played a few games with 2006. Very few minor changes from 2005. There’s no need to spend $50 to upgrade to 2006. The QB vision is great improvement towards a little more realism, but once again, just wait till next year when the 360 version comes out for PC.
And I would agree to using a gamepad. You can hook up a PS2 or Xbox controller to your comp.Comment
