    Hardware sound option?

Well I have a new sound card with 5.1 speakers to go along with it. I play Counter Strike Source a lot and the speakers work great, the sounds behind me play when suppose to and it all works awsome. But when I load BF2 I get the same sound out of all speakers or they will only be in the front 2. I did a search and seems that I should switch my sound option in BF2 to hardware and not software so I do buy when I do that the voices in the game have a lag effect.

And by the way I have a
Blaster Live! 24-bit (supports 5.1 and has EAX) When I installed it, it downloaded the newsest drivers.

So anyone know of a way to get my speakers to play correct in that when a sound is behind me it will for the most part play in the back speakers like it's suppose to.

Your sound card doesn't support Hardware sound in BF2 (as it processes the sound special effects with your CPU and not on the sound card - and you wonder why it's so cheap?) as stated in the read me file.
