Actually, I find that alot of clan servers are they ones with crappy admins. They think they are better than non-clanners and start crap with players... and some kick people who use "their clan's" vehicles. Some of the crappier clans will even kick players that are better than them.

These are the ROE rules that ranked servers have to live by..

1. GLOBALLY ENFORCED RANKED SERVER RULES
These are Rules that all admins/players using ranked servers are expected to observe and are set by EA under the EULA/ROE/TOS.
a. You may not arrange for the exchange or transfer of any pirated software or other contraband while you are on our servers or these Services, this will lead to immediate ban.
b. You may not market, promote or advertise anything, or make any other form of solicitation (including pyramid schemes and chain letters) on any of our services. Clan recruiting is not prohibited.
c. You may not change (hack) any core game files or employ external programs or cheats for the purposes of giving yourself an unfair advantage over other players.
d. Server admins may not change any game settings defined as standard for ranked servers (ticket ratios, server password, round time, etc.)
e. Server admins may not explicitly or implicitly (by actions) enforce restrictions on vehicles or weapons that players can use while on your server (e.g. knives only, aircraft prohibited except for clan members, etc.)
f. Server admins may not explicitly or implicitly (by actions) enforce restrictions on roles or kits that players can use while on your server e.g. Commander, Squad Leader, Spec Ops, etc.)
g. Server admins may not use non-standard maps or modified versions of standard maps.
h. Players may not use or exploit game mechanisms to artificially boost their scores ("stats padding") and Server admins may not knowingly allow or encourage this activity on their servers.
i. Players may not Impersonate EA ADMINS.

2. EA OFFICIAL PUBLIC SERVER RULES
These are Rules that EA official server admins enforce to maintain friendly, disciplined servers and are in addition to the global rules defined above.
a. You may not use any offensive or sexually explicit language in chat or voice mode. Not adhering to this rule will result in a warning followed by a kick or ban.
b. You may not use foul or slanderous language involving race, gender, sexual preference, religion or creed. Not adhering to this rule will result in a warning followed by a kick or ban.
c. You may not deliberately hinder your own team by Team-killing, destroying friendly vehicles or assets, or acting in such as way as to cause team mates unavoidable deaths or team-kills.
Not adhering to this rule will result in a warning then kick (for wounding or damaging) or an immediate kick or temporary ban for deliberate kills.
d. You may not display abusive behavior towards administrators. If you feel that you have been treated unfairly, you may lodge an appeal on the official forums /ticket system (www.bf2rankedservers.com).
Not adhering to this rule will result in a warning followed by a kick or ban.

3. LOCAL (PRIVATELY RENTED) SERVER RULES
These are rules that are not enforced upon EA's public servers but may be in use upon privately rented servers. These rules are decided by the administrators for those servers and as long as they do not contradict any global rules enforced by EA are considered valid for those servers.
Examples of valid local rules *could* include:
- No artillery fire or bombing runs on main (uncapturable) bases.
- No prolongued or sustained attacks on main (uncapturable) bases (i.e. spawncamping).
- No using the Transport Helicopters to take flags (Blackhawk whoring or flag hopping).
- No impersonating clan members.
- No using C4 on jeeps or other fast moving vehicles to take out other vehicles.

in fact I had that happen to me this morning on a Zboard..

Admin abuse is not tolerated at all on ranked servers..

Thanks for the explanation. I read your post as agreeing with the creator of the thread as you said to "report abusive admins and you will deal with it" In that I thought you agreed the admin was abusing his powers. What a sad day that would have been if it was true.

How about reporting this player as an abusive player then?

actually you can report a player as abusive towards admins, and it will be sent to EA to be dealt with,

that happens all the time

Be very careful when starting any kind of blacklist. Things can go very baddly and degenrate into a witch hunt quickly.

Back in my Tribes2 days, I was shocked to find my name on a community black list. It turned out I'd POed some myg0ts and they spoofed a trusted admin and stuck me on there.

the way this works is that you have to gather evidence, (screen shots and such), a breif history of what has transpired and then it's sent to EA for review and action...

we dont do that type of things ourselves,,,

but abusive players names get around and get banned as soon as they enter a server

Back in my Tribes2 days, I was shocked to find my name on a community black list. It turned out I'd POed some myg0ts and they spoofed a trusted admin and stuck me on there.

That's unlikely to happen on our server as you would know Wargimp because we have Battle Recorder setup and working correctly which we can refer to. Sadly you just can't take the word of all players and when a player asks for another player to be kicked for whatever reason, we hesitate in doing so unless we saw the incident occur. We then review the Battle Recorder footage/chat logs at the end of the round to make the appropriate decision.

I know you've got a good system in place (still waiting to see some hall of fame/shame vids!), but I figgured I'd toss out the cautionary note.

In my particular case, photoshopped screens were presented as evidence of me being an extreme TKer and Team base raper in T2. I was imediatly removed from the list when I was able to super expose the screens and show the crop lines to the guys running the list.

It's really a crying shame that we have to guard against human stupitiy the way we do. Sad note on us as a species.

Well look at my topic its kool but im saying the 2 servers i play on are good no problems and i play right on them now im saying that some eresponsible admins arent cappable of be admin so they poer trip or watever soo and when the guy got mad and said f u was when the admin tked him and i saw it he was chasing him and tked him 2 so he kicked abotu 13 ppl that round
