WTF is up with the community in BF2? Its terrible. People are always Tking me to get a chopper or plane, and if i do get a plane they jump out in front of it when I'm taking off to punish me. Theres a ton of useless and ignorant smack talk going on and its just terrible. This game is great but the community sucks. Its gotten to the point where i dont want to play anymore... Has anyone else noticed this?

Yeah there is a lot of ignorant people out there thats why I stay away from the planes.

Stick with Clan servers.
Soon you'll find one with good admins that enforce rules on that kind of behavior.

The 'company' type servers are not admined well and are overrun by smacktards.

Or even better, you jump in the plane/chopper and a team mate shoots you out of the cockpit with the 50 sniper rifle. Or...like this happened to me the other day. I was flying in a chopper with my friend, and we were dive bombing a mobile AA, him firing the guide missile and me firing the rockets. We blew it up but I had to pull to the left and nearly hit a mountain. As I came out of the turn, I saw at the last minute another friendly chopper right in my path just hovering there. Boom crash smash, 2 Tk's for me, and an instant punish. Then the guy started insulting me and such. If anyone has ever flown a chopper, you know that you have tunnel vision when pulling manuevers. You cant press and hold alt to look around, and I don't have time to go to the exterier view. What was the worst part was, my friend and I jumped in the chopper again, just to have the same thing happen 2 minutes later after dive bombing something else. It's almost like he did it on purpose this time so he could punish me again. Oh and of course I tried to pull up and not crash, but I was flying the mec chopper, not quite as manueverable as the cobra. Anyway, just was annoying, i'm sure someone is going to say something about it being my fault and I deserved it, but whatever, that's what I kind of expect anyway since I rarely see anything nice said on these, or any other bf2 forums.

the only reason why it sucks because of these reasons

1. Kids the age of 13 and below - most of them say they are godly at the game but they suck. Also they will TK to get to the Vehicels they want.

2. Immature PEople - Selfsaid

3. N00bs - They always want the biggest guns

4. Ignorant People - Bastards

I am sure u can think of more people

just stick with teh Clan Servers, they are usually moderated by the clan team mates so u will have a good and fun gameplay.

The Bf-42 community never really had a rampent TK problem.But Bf2 brought in people from all over the gaming world from CS,JO,COD etc etc.So it brings the good and the bad from other only FPS games to the Bf community.

With BF2 sometimes your gonna get a awesome server with cool players and other times your gonna get filled with retards, but if your in a bad one just leave and find another.

The Bf-42 community never really had a rampent TK problem.But Bf2 brought in people from all over the gaming world from CS,JO,COD etc etc.So it brings the good and the bad from other only FPS games to the Bf community.

I could not say it better.

I was long time admin on most popular russian bf1942 server.From time to time we had small problems with tk-ers and in other word idiots,but as Sir. G-Capo wrote those guys came from all over the gaming world.True bf players usualy did not do such stuff.With the implementation of idiotic ranking system we got various kind of morons,stat padders,tk-ers....And of course there is a general lack of admins on ranked servers.

That's good advice. Unfortunately 9.9/10 servers are not admined. Find a server like ours who don't put up with that griefing. You will find a totally different BF2 experience.

What makes you think noobies are the problem? I see more vets TKing for vehicles than anyone else.

A noob (be definition) might accedently stand in front of your plane while you're taking off or grab a chopper just to splat it into the ground 10 seconds later. But it's the tards that get really annoying. They're the ones that will run you down with a jeep while waiting for something to respawn, snipe you out of a cockpit, or indulge in enormous amounts of bunnyhopping/dolphin diving.

Those are the guys give the BF2 community a bad name.

Then again, I tend to find it's very server dependant. The servers I play on generally have great people. Just last night I had some great rounds on the R2 server. I was even asked to fly a couple times. No asked if I wanted to, asked if I could please do it!
