Well, ive posted about this before but it seems to have been deleted. I cant get promoted and its because i got my pistol (or maybe knife) badges at the same time. Has EA still not done anything about this? Theres no point in me ever getting special forces if i cant get promoted because i wont be able to get the new guns will i?

yeah thats me and it says im a master sergant which it does in game, but i have 33000 and all the medals
And i cant get promoted to First Sergant.· Basic Knife
· Basic Pistol
· Basic Assault
· Basic Anti-Tank
· Basic Sniper
· Basic Spec Ops
· Basic Support
· Basic Engineer

You get the needed badges and then get 20,000 more points so you can get promoted to Sgt Major. If EA had been smart, they would have made it so you could get promoted to 1st sgt anytime during the 30,000 points needed for the next rank so that way you have something to work on. At least you didn't get screwed like a few of us that had all the badges, but because of a basic/veteran badge that we earned at the same time, we were screwed out of the promotion. Oh, but no worries, that glitch was fixed a week after the patch came out, but too bad to those that already got promotedOriginally posted by Chris369

Exactly how do you get them at the same time? I assume you make 50 kills with knife BEFORE you actually get 7 kills in a round with the knife, so you get awarded them at once? Does it really award them to you instantaneously? Just curious.Comment

Another question. I have several Veteran badges which I got after I got the basic versions of it. Would that affect me in any way from getting the next badge? Could you possibly look over my stats and see that all is well for the next rank?
