Okay I have had BF2 a couple of weeks and it has been running fine, until a few days ago, at the end of a game where is says USMC has won the round or what ever, the game crashes and when I alt tab out to see what is wrong, there is a box on the desktop saying something about BF2 having a memory error, this is so damn annoying because none of my scores have been counted for ages. Please help if you can.

Try asking EA for some help (not to be rude). I get that **** too and a lot of other stuff. Send EA a message about that. But they will probably have an auto message. Good luck man, but I belive that nothan is going to get better for the game. It's just my oppinion.Comment

Your scores are still accumulated even if you leave the game before it ends.
What are you system specs?Comment

Re: Can anyone help with "Memory Error"
I have windows firewall off, but always keep my norton firewall on, and have configured it to allow me to play online games, so im pretty sure that isnt the problem. What do you mean by maintenance exactly? I clean up my C: and defregment it often, if thats what you mean.Comment

Re: Can anyone help with "Memory Error"
512 is min ram, and I used to run with that. I then put another 512 in and it worked "good". Then I grabbed two sticks of 1g and now it is "awesome". As to your memory error does it say "virtual mem"? If so you need to set your paging file to 1.5 x ram in Control/system/advanced/performance/advanced/virtual memory/change. Another shot in the dark would be to pull your ram sticks, switch slots and go. And do all the other stuff like updating and turning off backgroung programs that are eating up ram. Firewall and virus off, don't worry, but turn them back on when your done.Comment

Are you sure 1.5? At the moment it is set to 144 and it says the maximum size is 288. Is that right?Comment
