VOIP not working

I had to get a new mic case i tripped over the cord and sliced the old one.The issue im having is BF2's VOIP for some reason will not work with this mic.Its working and properly installed,i use it for ventrilo and ive ran all the tests.Its a USB mic and uses the "AK5370" driver.

Like i said it works with everything else but not BF2 voip.

any suggestions would be appreciated.

I had the same problem, and it sounds like we've got the same mic - the newest swan-neck from Logitech?

Either way, first head to your Control Panel and choose Sounds and Sound Hardware. On top there, click the Sound tab. Make sure that the drop-down menu in the middle section here says AK5370, if it doesn't then change it. Also click the Voice tab on top, and make sure that AK5370 is selected there aswell. On both places, also click the Volume button underneath, and make sure the unit isn't muted.
Now reboot. Go back into the Sound Settings and confirm that they're both still set to AK5370.

Now, go to your BF folder, and run BF2voicesetup.exe to see if it works.

Yes its the new swan neck from logitech.I applied your solution and every thing works now..thx man.
