i dunno if this has anything to do with it but i just installed the patch 1.12 and then i try to join a server and it says that my cd key is invalid!? :hmm: can anyone please help me with this thanks

this is why online games suck sometimes ...

try reinstallin the game and install the patches immediately after the installation.

I had this yesterday... Make sure you've registered your copy of BF2 with EA. Then call them and they should replace your CD Key... Or if it isn't possible. Email them your CD Key hash... (find it out by doing this: Lost Your CD Key? )

It's a shame this happens. But it does.
