How do you Put in Water?

[I PLAY GOOD]

How do you put in water is it in terrian, the layer i know if you click materials it says water puddle but i still dont know how to make it, and i still dont know how to put in roads, im new at this so im learning. The levels im making are Aberdeen which pictures are bellow and im going to make a Coral Sea type for Bf2 so i need help for this, thanks in advance

Thats Bf1942 Versoin of Aberdeen, this is my first map so i think i did fairly good


Its an all land Vehicle map, no heli jst put that in to take pics
O and does anyone know how to get those Checkerboard texture out???

You have to raise the water under level settings bottom left. Default is like -1000 er something - change it to around 30 or so

yes its ment to be aberdeen, this is my first map so give me a break, but now i put in bunch of roads and more stuff, no green. unfortunately its crashing so i dont know what to do.

yeah sorry m8 wasn't cutting into ya - i guess it confused me because the statics were so different... cant u use the smaller MEC houses instead of the big multi level buildings? i guess tht would make it more recognizable... but hey its like 50yrs+ since aberdeen so who knows... prospective real estate might have peaked in aberdeen since then.... i'm sure you have a story for it somewhere :) i too would like to see renders without the checkerboarding....

that looks like quite a cool map!
Keep it nice and even and have lots of jeeps for transport and it'll be great.
and lots of CPs with jeeps, don't spawn Tanks on CPs apart from the main base to make them more important.

ok thanks for the tip, i got rid of the Checkerboard texture and i have roads implanted now, i will take out the tanks and i still need to fix some of the glitches in the level. so i will be releasing it quite soon.



Jimbob i got rid of the checkerboard design and put in some roads and stuff, ill make a little trailer maybe showing the level maybe some commentary, i havent thought of a story yet but it will be pretty easy, plus i might put in some custom music, Red Alert's "Hell March" which really gets you in the mood to battle
