Hola Total BF2 members!
I hope this is the best place to ask. Oh, im newbie btw.
During Online gameplay im getting some lag "hick-ups". Loading pauses and so on. The type were your getting great FPS, then it dives, and comes back. Perhaps my settings are on too high? Ive been trying different display modes, different refresh rates, different everything!
I would like to know what my machine has been known to push comfortably for online play.
AMD XP 2500+
1 GIG of RAM
Apollo 6800 128-RD Geforce 6800 128MB DDR AGP 4X/8X Video Card
SB Live! Sound Card Series (WDM)
Now, my Apollo card came unlocked fully I was told. 16 X 6? opposed to 12X1? or something. Sorry, im still trying to figure out what does what. Anywho, it overclocked at 425/814 @ a 3DMark score of 4210, compared to its 3409 stock score. I tried both, and I didnt see much of an improvment. Note: my temps for my card was fine during my overclocking tests. Video card has the lastest 81 something nvidia driver.
If you guys could, let me know if I could handle some AAX2,4? High, medium, or low settings? My FRAPs test on a Special Forces map gave me 30 FPS average. I dont mind having 30 FPS as long as it was constant, but that wasnt the case.
