Fix needed For Choppers

I have Fly Alot in the (Black Hawk) and i seem to <no-dis> you cant look Right in the window with <RightMouseButton> like you did on 42 why was this removed. does Any body know why or is this a setting that i missed.

Yah when you do that the flight controls freeze, you should be able to use the hat switch to look around. I can't beleave EA diden't think of this one.

Yup, it's a little tricky to do inflight, but holding crtl and moving the mouse gives you free look.

I have a copy here. It has 2 profiles already in there I use for using the hatswitch to look left and right when in a jet/chopper... just run 2 instances of the program with one profile on each.

I’m a pretty decent chopper pilot (mainly Blackhawk and I don’t mess with jets) and I use a Logitech MX518 (along with my new G15 keyboard…SWEET!). This combo is definitely AWESOME for flying the transports and adequate for the attack helos.

I’ve got the near (larger of the 2) thumb button set for mouse look while flying and going prone when I’m on foot.

P.S. I’ve got the other (smaller) thumb button set to open my parachute and I press down the mouse wheel to talk.

This set-up may not work for everybody, but I’m happy with it. Give it a try. There’s no one perfect set-up. Just go with what works for you.

There is no reason for a helo pilot to want a joystick. The only advantadge joysticks have over a mouse is that you can turn constantly. With the helo sensitivity to max, how often do you run our of mousemat?
