Just loaded up BF2:SF and I tried to load up a server and I get:



WTF? It just suddenly happened... I tried another server and I still get it. It was working fine last night, why should it suddenly happen???

Anyone? I've contacted EA and re-installed but I still get it. I get it on Vanilla BF2 aswell.

possibly someone nicked your CD Key. hey, sh*t happens.

Well I have a friend that bought regular BF2 and he didnt get a CD key at all its no where on the book. So he calls EA tech support and the guys says take the game back can't help you. To me EA has poor support for the gamers but oh well life goes on. Ya that sux!!

Yea. I looked at a post on the official BF2 forums saying I shouldn't do it in the normal directory but install it in something like this: C:\Programfiles\EAGames\Battlefield2\PieMan(or another directory)\Battlefield2\. They said that by changing the folders it adds a new entry to the registry and gets rid of the problem.

Doesn't look like I can get my game back. When I go to retrieve account it doesn't retrieve my account. Nothing happens.

Looks like the possibility of my CD Key being stolen is kinda getting bigger. :cry: :hmm:

My dad just called EA and told them about the problem... And gave me new CD keys for both BF2 and SF. So basically as long as you have registered you can get new CD Keys.

Now to find out if they work...

What???? The only proof they needed was me registering BF2 and BF2:SF

Anyway, the CD codes I was provided with work!! Yippee!!
