weapon unlock help

i just got SF working and i was wondering how come i cant use some sf guns on the other team (ie. if i am the SAS i can use the new guns, but ont eh other team it is the same old bf2 unlocks). what do i do to get teh new SF guns to be used in all maps on all teams.

PS. i am a Sergent

You can't use SF unlocks on all teams.

SF unlocks are STANDARD weapons for the "good side." They cannot be used as unlocks for the "red side."

The SF unlocks are ONLY used in normal BF2, you can't use them in SF. The reason why you can use those guns on SAS is because those are the guns you unlock.

The other team don't have the unlocks because In Real Life they don't have them either I guess. The game is trying to model itself (loosly) on what is available IRL. Which is why the AT class in SF has an RPG and not the standard AT weapon.

Here is my final reply:

Unlocks for sf are for regular bf2 only.
For every bf2 unlock you get due to rank, you get a sf unlock as well.

You must have tier 1 unlock to get a tier 2 unlock.

There is the answer....no more questions.

This is what I thought; I have 5 unlocks in BF2 Vanilla but I only got to choose 3 new ones after playing SF? (I expected at least 4, as I don't have the tier one engineer unlock so couldn't unlock the MP7 anyway), but why only 3? I have played for several hours now and I haven't been offered a 4th. Anyone know why?
