Recently I reformatted my pc. I installed BF2, then each patch up to and including 1.03. Then I installed SF, and finally the 1.12 patch. Now I sometimes get this static noise on BF2 menu and during gameplay. It's not so terrible that I can't stand it, but I would like to get rid of it---- any suggestions?

do you listen to music for long periods or play other games? if you can hear static ANY other time i am leaning towards a connection somewhere. i once learned the hard way to check all my cables and connections carefully -

No, the only time I hear the static is with BF2--- and it starts as soon as the login screen appears. Like I said before, it is not severe, just a little annoying.Comment
