I got the expert assault badge awhile back in a 60 player server playing a 64 player Strike at Karkand map. It was all infantry combat, i used the G3, and took advantage of regular nades.

It is very doable without a vehicle. Strike at Karkand is your best bet.

Tank whore, it's kinda cheap, but just spawnrape with the tank on Karkand. I mean, it may not be the most honorable way of getting it, but at least u got it.

arg.....37 i just got on karkand.....had the tank for like half the round and did the rest with the g3.....i was screaming the last 40 tickets cause i was cold and had like 3 kills left....then i started cursing and the server kicked me with 2 tickets left........grrrrrrrrrr

even cheaper , be commander + a tankwhore :p

allthough you dont get points for the kills you , it still counts as kills :p (+ arty)

I think you gotta be very lucky to get it on foot (unless its an empty server).

Whyyyyyy would you use a J-10 or a tank to get your expert assault badge. The awards are way out of hand- You'll get the award sure, you can look pretty for all the faceless kids that stumble upon your stats, but wouldn't it be better to get it the way it was intended? I've achieved over 40 kills as ground pounder assault class many times.

NOES! I was playing for my Engineer Combat and Specialist badges last night, i was on Night Flight, with my trusty MP-7, damn that thing rocks, I made 39 kills only with the MP-7...then the round ended, i was so ****ed off :p

Euhm no thy changed that a while ago in 1.03, tried it myself with Engineer a couple of days ago, didnt work(and dont start about the 15 hiurs, cause that was already done, and updated before the round)

This is the most best affect way for all expert badges.

just drive around shooting everyone between the hotel flag and square. Shoot threw the alleys like crazy.

TK YEASHHH me and my friends got on wake stayed in a littlke spot and thats 10-14 of use standing there and a jet comes boom and arty troo we had fun

For any Expert Combat badges, just whore the PLA jet on Wake or the tank on Karkand. If you want to actually earn the badge, I'd say Karkand or a 64-man Warlord (best infantry combat in the game in my opinion).

try to get in a 16 player server with a 64 player map thats how i got my expert spec ops
