Multiplayer Problem

I just recently installed Special Forces to my computer and am experiencing a problem with the multiplayer aspect. I have all my patches from BF2 up to date all the way up to 1.12 - prior to installation of Special Forces. I tried Special Forces online and after loading the entire map from an OFFICIAL server I click the "join game" button and recieve an error stating that the server only excepts unmodded versions of the original game. I also have no modifications turned on or activated. Can anyone help???

Sounds like you installed 1.12 before installing SF. If so you need to patch it to 1.12 again because when you install SF it coverts it back to 1.1

I tried that once but it locked up so i will give it another try and get back and post what happened for future reference for other people, thanks though.

Ye I had this, You gota put the 1.12 patch on after install!

after installing SF re-install the last patch.

but sometimes I do get the same problem but rarely....could it be somthing else...
