bf2 crashing

i was playing bf 2 fine in single player, but i wanted to paly online so i downloaded patch 1.12, installed it and when i went to run it it crashed right beofre i got to the ea games screen. hwne i click it battle field 2 comes up , then it crashes right after going into fullscreen mode. any ideas?

i havre a simular issue, alothough i have had the game nearly a week without even being able to play it, it reboots my machine,

i havent got anything to offer help wise. i'm just moaning ..

i dont think they wanna help you if you dont register your product.
i've registerd mine and emailed them, that was 3 days ago.
