Is my geforce 6800gt fubar?

Ive only just got my pc working again after having 3 faulty mb's supplied. Did fresh win xp install and bf2 install. Patched upto newest patch and i'm now getting tetures dissapearing to black shapes, invisible troops etc. Ive removed nvidia drivers and done a driver cleaner program. Currently using 78.01 which used too work fine n dandy before on bf2 with 1024x768 all high setting. Whats the score? Screwed up in cod2 until driver cleaner (now fine). Any ideas?

amd 64 3400,1500mb pc3200 400mhz ddr, 2x 40gb ide drives, sb live 24bit,550w psu, msi geforce 6800gt, win xp

you sure you have the mobo drivers installed, and the latest version of DX..

Tried taking 78.01 off using add/remove then driver cleaner in safe mode etc. Got latest 81.98. deleted bf2 cache files. and i get this....
Np with other games, Is it just bf2?

Dammit. Can't be bothered to re size etc. Gfx glitches wierd shapes still. alt tab out and back in textures ok for a few seconds
