I've wanted a new rifle other than the M95, Type 88, SVD and M24.
Love my sniping.

I'm just disappointed I have 9,000 points to go before my next unlocks are available. Sorta disappointing that.

But I sincerly hope the sniper unlock is GOOD.

Thats bs. I better get one of them right away, I have 20,000 points for my next unlock, and I play sniper a lot.If I knew I would have not unlocked the crappy Scar or MG36 and saved it for the sniper.

Im on 78,000 and i carn't get any more unlocks so they will have to just give them to me right !

They have to give them away for free or maybe reset the unlocks so you can choose the new ones, because I just passed 50k....

TotalBF2.com: What about new content? Can we expect some new maps or weapons to make the list in this patch, or possibly even a future patch?

Armando: Other than the addition of two new unlock weapons (for the sniper and AT), there will not be more content in the patch. There is a plan for additional content as we move forward, but patches will not be the means of delivering this new content.

I suspect that the new unlocks will be given retroactivly like they were in SF. If you're Sargent or higher, I'd expect to see you getting 2 free unlocks the first time ya play with the new patch.

i love the scarl and mg36...
dont need another anti tank one cos i lurve the dao..
but i wouldnt mind a different sniper gun...its only m24 or m95 atm i dont use the default mec/china one... so it would be kinda cool...

I'm so sick and tired of reposting this (exactly the same thing you said), that I really just don't bother anymore. Someone should make a topic about the unlocks, get that in bold in the first post and sticky it, I'm getting tired of people panicking over "zOMG1!!1 I WUNT GET MAI UNLOCKZ FOR LAIK 300000K POINTZ!1!1" just because they're not bothering to actually either:

A) Browse the forums for the subject.
B) Think for a bit and find that DICE is not stupid down to the point of forcing players with 250K+ points, who will not have any more ranks, to not get these unlocks and to figure out that considering that SF owners do not get an extra unlock for Lance Corporal and Corporal, that these unlocks would be given away to anyone above Sargeant (since they have two extra unlocks unaccounted for).

In any case, I always welcome more variety. Bring the new unlocks on. :p

I'm lookin forward to it too. I accedently wasted an unlock on the MP7 (which did turn out to be not to bad) when I really wanted to pick up the MG36.

Gonna have to see what the tweaks to accuracy do for various other weapons, tho. If they make the PKM more accurate (as they mentioned) I might have to go with something else.
