I find Battlefield 2 difficult to play because of the distance I can see. One of the more annoying examples is the Strike at Karkhad (don't quote me for spelling) where the map has thick fog, it really hurts my eyes, I have to squint to make anything out. I've played many hours of BF2, and just taking a glance of this screenshot amazes my eyes, at the distance you can make out any object compared to what I'm used to >http://img511.imageshack.us/img511/3791/bf2screenshot8cu.jpg
I have no problem spotting tanks and vehicles at long range (I have geometry set on high) but by the time I launch a missile/drop bombs etc thats when the text comes up to distinguish whether or not they are allied, and then I get TK points..is there any way to increase the distance I can spot friendlies? Back on subject..
I have View Distance on 100%, but I still can't see as far as lets say, that screenshot.
I found on the mod section of these boards, a way to edit the fog out of that specific map I mentioned, but I only like to play online, and of course it would make multiplayer impossible.
