well, BF2 was working fine until now. It seems as though the patch somehow screwed up how the game runs i guess, cause i pop in the cd and the "autorun" comes up right, and the play now, and play online are blacked out...like you can't click them. I tried uninstalling...reinstalling, redoing patch many times, and it just works sporatically and now it hasnt worked for a while, thakns any help is appreciated

Play Now sucks *$@*@!^ and whatever else you can think of. Just use the shortcut to load the game.Comment

yah but then when i do that...it freezes as i try to connect to the internet at the "connecting to server" to get into multiplayer not the actualy games if you knwo what i mean, and i dunno how to solve this..Comment

If it freezes at 'connecting to server' it means that is is unable to connect to the gamespy login server. This is normally due to a firewall or router problem.Comment

umm my firewall was turned off when i did it last, and my router is fine for everything else......???Comment
