for some reason wake island got deleted, how do i reinstall?

Some program detected it as spyware and deleted it, lol. Is there a way i can fix wake island without reinstalling bf2?

to be more specific, you know how when you go into the folder in program files with all the maps, thers a folder with each map? Then in each folder theres a folder called "info", a file called archive, a file called client, and a file called server? Well the server file in wake island folder got deleted. This results in everytime i try to join a servre with wakeisland, it crashes to desktop with no error. whre can i replace this?

You should be able to apply the patches again. One of them included Wake Island.

you mean if I download 1.12 again and run it, it will repatch? won't that mess it up? I'm not sure if the file labeled server is different for each person, but if its not could somoene post it up for me to download?

I doubt that it would be possible to install just one map like that.

If you didn't have any problems with 1.12 patch the first time then repatching should be fine.

bump? can anyone post up that file for me to try? i feel like bf2 is working fine now and i know ea sucks and don't wanna risk breaking it by repatching.

I unistalled BF2 recently due to receiving "this server does not accept modified content, please revert back to your original version"

(or close to that)

After checking around here and other places it seems that I had corrupt game files...

Remove and Re install was the answer.....JHHAHAHAHAAH

SO here I am...

I dealt with this for 10 hours yesterday....
Unistalled
Loaded with multiple MD5 errors
Uninstalled again.
Loaded with multiple MD5 errors
researched MD5 - sometimes related to disc errors...
bought new BF2 disc.... another $50
Loaded with multiple MD5 errors
Unistalled called EA... got a "how to email"
Loaded BF2 in Safemode with a few MD5 errors.
SEarched HD for old BF2 files... deleted all of them.
Loaded BF2 with NO ERRORS... thought it was getting somewhere...whohoo
PAtched with 1.12v in safemode...

Started game, looking at multi play maps and notice WAKE in RED.
tried to get into a Single player map to adjust some settings... It loads to 59-62% and crashes to desktop repeatedly...

I have recieved a few errors...but not every time.....
memory.dll:all alloc attempts failed for size -959256382
&
memory.dll:sanity check:block size -959256382

and here we are...Im not happy..lol

I have a new HD that I have yet to install.. I Will be installing all new Software.... XP, Office, Games, Quickbooks, and several more... shortly...
That better solve the issues...

im getting that "revert to same version" error on wake only. im just gonna repatch 1.12 (cause it was working fine) and see how it goes.:hmm:

well, when I join a server with wakeisland, it just crashes to desktop with no error message. All I think i need is the server file for wakeisland, since it's missing. If someone would post theres on some service for me to download, it would be sooo happy!
