Accessing Unlocked Weapons

I know this must be a stupid question, but i cant seem to find the answer anywhere. I recently got my 1st weapon unlock, so I unlocked the weapon for the medic. When i join a server though i use the old weapon and not the unlocked weapon. How do i make it so i use my unlocked weapon?

Um, near where u choose ur kit, there is a little 'switch' button. It has two arrows, one pointing up, and one pointing down, it should be flashing a bit, press the button, then u'll see ur main weapon changes.

Is that in BFHQ? I went in i dont see anything that says switch with arrows.
