i have searched around and couldnt find anything about this... when i [try to] install BF2, it stops at common_clients.zip and says "failed to install Battlefield 2. Please try again at the beginning." whats causing this? i tried restarting the computer, and it still does it. FWIW, i just put 2gb of RAM in my computer.

A lot of people fixed this by running memtest.com and finding problems with their memory (and yes, some had just bought new memory). Taking out one of the modules and then installing ther patch fixed their problems.
the patchlog.txt file in /my docs/BF2/dmp/ will give you error codes that esplains what is going wrong.Comment
