Frustrating!!!

has anyone had this yet: join a server, veryfying data, then find out that you are a private with no weapon unlocks whatsoever? what could cause this? is this a server problem or what guys

Yes I have had this. Seems to be a problem with the server when you log in. Something about retrieving and caching your stats. Log out then back in normally gets your unlocks but you still have no rank, then you proceed to get all the basic medals again. Very annoying.

Normally when I get that I have to log out, log in/out a couple times.

This has been posted several times! And yes, it happends for me also. Like it does for all other ppl.
It's random, and should not happend.
The reason is something to do with the stat servers. I don't know what's happening, but when it happends for me, usually I just logout and quit BF2. Waiting 1-2 min, logging in and happy fraggin again. With all ya unlocks and current rank again :)

If it's not working, try log out & quit again. - Once I should do this 3 times, sugh.

Yeah just log off the server and rejoin its a common bug in bf2.

I have had this problem from time to time eversince 1.03. A little less with 1.12
