Right, well the problem I have when I install everything again includin the patch and then run SF, and when it gets to 47% it crashes. Well it's the Object_client.zip

I was wondering if anyone knows where I can download this exact file?
    thanks

    You can't.

During what procedure are you crashing at 47%? Installing Special Forces or installing the v1.12 patch?

Did you reinstall the game each time? Because I've got this error like 15 times already and nothing helps... bleh, I'll try the registries trick.

So all I do is re-download it until it works? Because if that's the case, I'll give it a go, but it'll take a while as the first time I downloaded t it took 3 hours. Hopefully it speeds up. Thanks guys ^_^.

You're just a lucker. I bought the boxed version too and still get the same update problem.

                  D'oh!

I will certainly agree that buying any Battlefield product certainly comes with its set of problems..both online and retail versions.
