A question about artillery

It's simple, the artillery kills weren't displayed but they still counted as kills, and even as vehicle kills. For example, you are in a tank, and kill 20 people with arty, these 20 kills will be added to your armor kills in BFHQ

Since the last patch I've not been playing as commander oftenly; but does the arty still "works" this way?

Arty works this way: you get the kill in your bfhq as class-spec kills but not vehicle kills.

yeah, what he said, class specific, and overall kills, but not in your in a vehicle etc... And besides, what real commander sits in a freaking tank anyways?

I've been commander and a tanker at the same time plenty of times. Why? Because I know how to use a tank, and when I watch my team mates jump in the tank and drive off, just to crash into something, get blown up, or something like that within a minute...I tend to make sure we have someone that knows how to use the tank in it. However, if I see someone else running for it, or someone else wants it or something, I always let them have it. After all as you said, I am the commander.
